Enjoy your Creativity at home ... while social distancing and Corona - 5th

Who said staying home is boring?

In my last 4 articles I focused on listening, watching artists.
But these days of quarantine is just the perfect time to get creative on your own!

Lego - these bricks never get old or boring

I love the little colored bricks and why not do something creative ...

I like to share with you some awesome examples - and like to start with a print ad by Ogilvy ( in this context a huge hello to all my ex-colleagues at Ogilvy: "don't forget your 'red pencil' on ur desk :-) " )
You can read more about this 'dragon' and the campaign here = https://mikeshouts.com/ogilvy-mather-thailand-lego-campaigns/

"Don’t Play With Your Food" But contrary to what our mothers told us - some food is meant to be played with if we build them by Lego bricks:

And these little bricks they can be more than mere toys – here are some awesome works of Lego art.

I love the incredible LEGO Artworks by Nathan Sawaya  https://www.brickartist.com/

Drawing

Drawing is fun and drawing has proven health benefits, painting and art promotes mental health and improve your, your kids and your family's overall quality of life.
Some people and children are shy away from drawing because they don’t think they can ‘do it right’ so looking for, providing, and taking lots of opportunities to draw on their own terms is great, when it is not a special activity, when no one else is watching, can give these people the space to experiment and practice without pressure.
Perhaps start like these two video suggest ...
.. outline your hand ... and do what comes to your mind ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtvGQ-Izk-8
or
Draw anything from Numbers or Letters ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvIqKOTvTsA

Stop Motion Movie

Everyone can be a storyteller - especially kids are natural born story tellers. Let them tell their story by using their favorite toys or use the drawing or the Lego bricks!
It was never ever as easy as today to make your own movie ... as I was a box I did it with my Dad's Super 8 fim camera ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_8_film_camera ) - but today we have smartphone, tablets.
All you need is a smart phone or tablet, and the mentioned toys, leog or draings, you can use the app OSnap ( https://www.osnapphotoapp.com/ )  and your creativity!

If you or your kids create a video, I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to see it! I adore seeing creativity! feel free add it as comment - I am looking forward to hearing / seeing from you :-)
